Al Ahly have been reportedly linked with a move for ASEC Mimosas midfielder Zoungrana Mohamed in the summer.
The 21-year-old is considered one of the most promising talents in Ivorian football, and an influential midfielder in ASEC Mimosas squad.
Mohamed is characterized by a physique in every duel and a great ability to recover the ball.
According to Foot d’Afrique, Zoungrana Mohamed’s agent Nasser Diallo mentioned that the Egyptian giants are following the player, however, no official offers have been sent yet.
Mohamed has been a pillar of ASEC Mimosas’ CAF Confederations Cup campaign this season as the Abidjan-based reached the quarter-finals, playing nine games for the Ivorian champions in the compeitions.
Moreover, the defensive midfielder has been part of Côte d’Ivoire’s squad during the 2022 African Nations Championship where he featured three times for the Elephants.
The move could be seen as a replacement for Aliou Dieng’s potential departure in the summer.
