Division One side Basake Holy Stars will resume training today, November 28, 2022, at Awiebo Town Park.
The club took short holidays following Access Bank Division One League week 8 fixture against Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Stadium.
The break was due to the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup stage in Qatar.
Resuming earlier from the world cup break will enable the technical team to prepare ahead of the matchday nine fixture against Skyy Fc at CAM Park and other subsequent matches in January 2023.
Coach Dominic Nketiah’s side recorded 100 percent home wins but was disappointed after losing narrowly to West Africa Football Academy and Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs in away fixtures.
Basake Holy Stars has recorded four wins and four defeats in eight games played in the 2022/23 Access Bank Division One League. The club sits 7th on the league log with 12 points.
