It was made known during a meeting held between the Western Regional Football Association and Division Two Clubs on Thursday, October 12, at Asawinso Community Centre in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality to discuss issues concerning the just-ended 2021/22 Division Two League.
Speaking at the meeting, the Western Regional Football Association Chairman, Hon. Simon Ehomah was amazed and said his outfit will improve its activities in the upcoming season.
According to him, live coverage improved officiating, support by the WRFA on player registration and effective updates on their activities will be their hallmark in the upcoming season.
Hon. Simon Ehomah, when responding to fake players’ registration card issues, stated that teams and administrators caught in such actions would be handed over to the police for persecution since it is against the regulations of the Ghana Football Association.
However, clubs in Zone Four accepted the 2021/22 Division Two League Table presented by the Western Regional Football Association and stated that they are ready to comply with the rules from the regional governing body.
