The Ghana Football Association could benefit significantly, according to President Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku, if the Elite Talent Identification Program is wisely applied.
He was addressing the crowd on Wednesday at the launch of the Elite Talent Identification Program.
The Elite Talent Identification Program is a thorough plan that aims to advance the GFA’s talent identification agenda throughout various Districts and Regions.
To build the foundation of the U-15 male and female national teams, these talents will be picked from Ghana’s Communities, Districts, and Regions. If they are successful, these individuals will advance to the Black Starlets and then to the Black Stars level.
He said, “We are making enormous sacrifices and investments today for our collective good tomorrow, so if we believe in this vision, if we adhere to this vision, and if we follow this vision, we will not only go to Qatar and come back, but we will go to the next one in the United States and Canada and the one after that,”
“And perhaps, because of the investment we are making today, those who will succeed us when we are gone will lead us to the promised land,”
“The path ahead will be difficult and muddy, but as a family and a group who share the belief that investing in our tomorrow is important, We will get there,” he added.
