In a bid to ensure access to water for the good people of Prestea Ankobra, the President of Wassa Hemaa Foundation, Hon Barbara Oteng Gyasi, has presented an amount of Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Cedis (GH 17,500.00) to France-jay Group of Companies Limited to construct a treatment plant for a borehole in Ankobra Community.
The provision of a treatment plant for the borehole she constructed for the community during her tenure as Legislator had become a necessity due to the heavy ionic component in the water which renders it unsafe for drinking and other household activities.

She entreated the Contractor to deliver on time as portable water remains paramount and essential in the survival of every community.
The Contractor assured Hon. Lawyer Mrs. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi that the work would be expedited to ensure completion within one (1) week indicated.
It is refreshing to note Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi’s relentless efforts at providing clean and accessible portable water for the good people of Prestea-Huni Valley during her tenure as MP; the beneficial communities included AsanteAye, Aboakyi, Wassa Kwahu, AdjeiKrom near Wassa Akuapim, Okyere Kojokrom, Number one Compound, Prestea Office, Akuapem, Ayensukrom, Gordon, Nkwanta.
