The Former Member of Parliament for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai constituency, Hon Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu, has stated that he will offer his support if the current Legislature, Hon Alfred Obeng Boateng, pursues good initiatives to fast-track the development of the area.
The Former Western North Regional minister said helping people, especially his constituents are part and parcel of him, so he doesn’t need to be an MP again before helping people.
According to Hon Aboagye Gyedu, the Member of Parliament for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai constituency, Hon Alfred Obeng Boateng has abandoned his uncompleted projects after succeeding him.
He said this on Okyeame Adekyee Mu Nsem with Deetu Kwadwo Amofa when disclaiming an allegation leveled against him by the Member of Parliament, Hon Alfred Obeng Boateng.
The MP has accused Aboagye Gyedu of lobbying at the Presidency for one of his supporters to be appointed an MCE for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality Assembly, however, for him being the MP, his (Obeng Boateng’s) favourite candidate should be given such position.
Hon Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu urged Hon Alfred Obeng Boateng to rather fight for the people of Bibiani-Oldtown as the mining activity in that enclave is affecting the lives of people living around that area.
Speaking on chairs he donated to Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai constituency NPP party office, he eulogized the chairman of the constituency, Hon Kwame Asamoah, for his ruthless effort for the party’s development by investing his resources in the party.
Hon Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu said it’s only party politics that can cause enemies to lie on the same bed stressing that politicians don’t have to be friends before they can work together in a partisan environment.
