Philip Ayisi, known in the entertainment/Media space as MC Bobby Zaro, has been nominated for a National Award.
In a letter addressed to him by the award scheme 5-Star Channels Award Ghana ‘22, the award-winning personality was recognized for his excellence in creativity.
He was nominated for the “National Drivetime Personality of the Year”. Other nominees include Abeiku Santana of Okay Fm, Silver Lady of Oman Fm, Ike the unpredictable of Angel Fm etc.
MC Bobby Zaro started his media work at the infant stage during his Basic school level, where he used to entertain his mates with his dance moves. He continued to be the entertainment prefect at the SHS level.
After SHS, Mc Bobby Zaro, due to his love for the entertainment industry was seen organizing events in his community before gaining admission to the Pan African Institute of Journalism, Takoradi, where he obtained a Diploma in Journalism.

After working in top media houses, including Spark 103.5 Fm, and Solar 91.1 Fm, all at Dunkwa on Offin in the Central Region and Metro 90.5 FM, Sunyani in the Brong Region, Mc Bobby Zaro is the current Host of Drivetime Entertainment show at Ahobraseye 98.5 Fm at Asankragwa in the Western Region.
His worth experiences and dedication to work have earned him this national recognition and he seeks to work even harder to inspire the young generation.
