Dr. Clement Clinton Blay has disclosed his intention to contest the Parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress in Ellembele Constituency to unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament.

The philanthropist said he will challenge the Member of Parliament, Hon Emmanuel Armah Buah when the party opens the Parliamentary nomination.

The Ellembele NDC Branch Executive member, Dr. C. Blay explained that he is in touch with not just the base of the NDC but the youth in the constituency and that he is confident of his chances.

Stressing that it’s time for more action and less talk in order to develop the Ellembele Constituency.

Declaring his bid to journalists on Monday, 6th February, 2023, he said that much as he recognized the good works done by the current MP, he believes that the development has been slow-paced and that with him in the saddle, the development in the heart of Nzema will be expedited.

Dr. Clement Clinton Blay who is the Chief Executive Officer of Shaip Africa Foundation noted that his philanthropist background will enable him to establish contact and relationships with relevant stakeholders to provide equal opportunities for the youth.

Dr. Clement Clinton Blay has been promising to build a community of equal opportunities for the NDC grassroots and the youth in Ellembele if he is given the chance to lead the party.

To this end, he has named his slogan for his campaign #Obiaa B3 Didi, to wit, equal opportunity for all.
