In accordance with Article 31(1) and 31(2) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Statutes 2019, the Executive Council of Western Regional Football Association has set Friday, November 11, 2022, as the date for the Ordinary Session of Congress.
According to Article 31(2) of the GFA Statutes 2019, “The Executive Council shall set the date and location of a Congress meeting. Members must be notified in writing at least ten (10) days ahead of time.”
A letter signed by Mr. Andrews Kwasi Eshun, Secretary for the Western Regional Football Association, states that the event will be held at the Conference Hall of Boakyewaa Hotel, Wassa Akropong.
In compliance with Article 31(3) of the GFA Statutes 2019, the formal Convocation of Congress shall be made in writing and circulated to the Members of GFA at least ten (10) days before the stipulated date of the meeting of Congress.
This Convocation shall contain the Agenda, the Activity Report, the Auditors’ Report, and other relevant documents.
However, the Executive Council has announced that Sekondi-Takoradi, the Capital of the Western Region, will host the 2022/23 Super Middle League.
Meanwhile, Friday, November 28, is set as the deadline for the payment of the Affiliation fee (GHC 1000.00) for Division Two League Clubs.
