An aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai constituency, Mr. Kwame Obeng Adjinah, says the Member of Parliament for the area, Alfred Obeng Boateng, is not of adequate merit to be a legislator.
In a WhatsApp banter that ensued between the two, Mr. Kwame Obeng Adjinah bemoaned the weak leadership of the MP.
“It’s just so hard to believe that you are the same Alfred Obeng Boateng, AKA Approachers, who appeared in our constituency as the MESSIAH presented by the NPP. Whoever advised you to become an MP has done you a great disservice, Hon,”
“You speak of political wisdom and yet, same does not tell you to unite your party, tolerate divided opinions and embrace the principles of inclusive leadership and democratic governance,”
“You speak of strategy and yet, you are busy breaking your party apart in BAB by the alleged undemocratic attitude you demonstrated in the election of your party executives. What kind of political wisdom is to fight with your constituency Chairman and petty things including litigating in court over money?” he added.
Mr. Kwame Obeng Adjinah rubbished Alfred Obeng Boateng’s earlier comment of being unmatchable against any NDC opponent ahead of the general elections.
“Do you really believe you are unbeatable? I’m not sure you read the Class 1 story of the Elephant and the Ant. (Assuming without admitting that you are an elephant),”
“None of the NDC aspirants can match you. Really? On what grounds are you doing your comparison? Who lied to you that BAB is for you and only you? Just tickle yourself and laugh,”
Mr. Kwame Obeng Adjinah further cautioned Hon Alfred Obeng Boateng to start planning life after the 2024 general elections.
“If I were you, I will be planning life after 2024; When you are defeated and out of parliament. When NDC is in power and the BOST scandal lands on the special prosecutor’s desk. Better prepare. No amount of wailing and tantrums can save you,” he concluded.
