Hon. Simon Ehomah, the Chairman of the Western Regional Football Association, Friday, October 14, 2022, held a successful meeting with Division Two clubs in Zone Three in Bawdie of the Wassa Amanfi East Municipality.
The Chairman, together with Dr. Pearson, Chairman of the Competition Committee and Mr. Andrew Kwasi Eshun (WRFA Secretary), discussed issues pertaining to the 2021/22 Division Two League season.
Chairman of the Western Regional Football Association, Hon. Simon Ehomah spoke at the gathering and assured his organization would increase its efforts next season.
Live coverage, WRFA’s support for player registration, improvements in officiating, and efficient updates on their activities, in his speech, will be their defining characteristics for the forthcoming season.
Clubs in Zone Three recognized the Division Two League Table for 2021/2022, submitted by the Western Regional Football Association, and said they are committed to abiding by the competition rules.
Administrators present at the meeting appealed to the WRFA Chairman and Exco to consider the area for hosting the Ordinary Congress and Super Middle League.
In response, Simon Ehomah advised them to work on their facilities to meet the requirements of the Ghana Football Association before their request can be considered in the future.
As it was made known in the Western North region, some administrators in Zone Three also revealed some past and present Exco members phone them repeatedly to speak ill against Hon. Ehomah and the Western Regional Football Association.
However, the Chairman is expected to meet clubs in Zone Two and Zone One as we prepare ahead of a new season.
